Cannabis Social Club Dortmund e. V. wants everyone to be able to use csc.do. As a club, we are not a public body, so the German accessibility regulation BITV 2.0 does not apply to us. We still follow the requirements of WCAG 2.2 at level AA and publish this statement voluntarily.
Compliance status
Because of the points listed below, this website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2, level AA.
What is not yet accessible
- Maps: The map of the no-consumption zones and the map of our registered office are images of a map. You can move and zoom them with the keyboard, but their content only becomes clear by looking at them. The “Check my location” and “Check an address in Dortmund” functions give their result as text, the rules are also written out on the page, and the address of our registered office is on the contact page.
- PDF files: We have not checked the checklists, handouts and training certificate against PDF/UA. Their content is also available as a web page.
- Easy German: Only part of the website is available in Easy GermanDE (Leichte Sprache), currently eight pages, in German only.
- Sign language and audio: There are no videos in German Sign Language and no recorded audio versions. Your device’s read-aloud function works on all pages.
- Screen readers: We have not yet done a full test with a screen reader.
- Very narrow screens: At a width of 320 pixels, a long word in a narrow card may break in the middle, especially in the translated versions.
- Other services: The members’ portal (portal.csc.do) and linked websites of other providers are not covered by this statement.
What we do about it
- Easy German for the most important topics, linked at the bottom of every page.
- Reading aid (“Aa” button): larger text and more space between lines, words and letters.
- A dark view that is just as good as the light one.
- Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus and a “Skip to content” link.
- Colour contrasts calculated, fonts hosted by us, no embedded third-party services.
- The website in German, English, Turkish, Ukrainian and Arabic.
How this statement was prepared
We prepared this statement on 29 September 2026. It is based on a self-assessment carried out on 28 and 29 September 2026:
- automated testing with axe-core, with no findings,
- all 233 pages at a width of 320 pixels (equivalent to 400% zoom) and at 200% zoom,
- keyboard-only operation, including the age check, menu, search, self-test and training,
- a visual check of the keyboard focus for every type of control.
We have fixed the errors we found. We will check the website again whenever a lot changes, and after one year at the latest.
